I can't get any sound from Mesh.

I downloaded the instaler again (it says 1.2, but the GUI says 1.1 :? )but it still doesn't work.
I tried on Sonar X1 64 bits, Reaper 4 64 bits and FL Studio 11 (windows 7 64 bits).

:help:

TIP: Disable anti-virus before install

Sorry to hear that!

Offhand I can't think why it wouldn't work, except it's a 32-bit plug-in, have you tried it in the 32-bit version of reaper? It may need jbridge to work in a 64-bit host.

Did it work previously?

Post

FL Studio is 32 bits and doesn't work.

I tried in Sonar 32 bits too. No sound :(

But it worked before. Previous versions worked well.

Had it stopped working before you installed the update?

Post

I think so. But I think I no longer have the old installer to confirm this.

Post

I find old installer. Version 1.1 doesn't work too.

Very strange...

SOLVED

Avast was messing with the installation.

Disable avast and reinstall. Everything is working now.

sorry for the confusion

Ahhhh, great, yes I have had a lot of problems with virus software over the couple of years, sorry I should have mentioned that to you. Anyhow glad you are up and running again :)

In fact, you need to create an exception item on the avast for your vst folder(s) OR completely disable avast when you run the DAW.

I know, I have spent hours sending in false positives to many virus companies to try and get the files excluded, but to be honest I would need the rest of my life to achieve it. If Avast has a submit button I would appreciate you submitting them as eventually it would help some other Mesh user in the future. It's like they've run out of things to do, they started on the SE modules a couple of years ago en-masse. Some of my code has been around for 5-6 years and the dll unchanged in all that time, yet suddenly it is malicious. To be honest it's the main reason I've stopped developing VST plugins for the moment, somebody downloads a demo, sees a virus warning, removes it and never comes back to your site, the damage it has caused me is massive. Oh well, such is life :)

https://support.avast.com/Tickets/Submit-That's the Avast false positive reporting page, I use it every now and then and they get it off the list in 2-3 days time. You don't need it installed, just say you have the free version.
