Hi,

Very nice to see it !

Yes, 761 Mio uncompressed, it is rather big !

For me, there is at least no crash with Windows 7 x64 and Windows 8.1.
Must it make some sound ? It seems to be silent.

I am waiting to test the export ;-)

Hey makira,

Would it be easy to add a 'nearest integer' function?

When making a bit crusher it would be a pain to make if then statements for 1 - 65536 for 16 bit.

Yep, added to the todo list.

In the meantime, simply use [ x - mod(x, 1) ]. Should be fine for positive numbers. That'll round down, if you want nearest, replace x by (x+0.5) everywhere.

Thanks! Nice workaround. I never knew what the mod function did. lol

I have exported several Plugins, created with Sonic Birth Alpha, as windows VSTs. I tried different PCs and DAWs with no success. They cannot recognize the VST plugin. I even used the VST-Scanner only to confirm that are not valid VST dlls. Please help...

Let me know if it launches/crashes (along with the version of Windows you use).

Exporting is not yet implemented. Only exporting to Windows VST is planned for the Windows version. Package size is a bit big, I haven't had time to trim the dependencies.

Have fun!
Great!!!

Did a quick test on my Win7 64 bit system.
SonicBirth launches correctly.
I tried a quick sine osc and a multiplier to control its amplitude. A cosntant driving the frequnecy.
No sound.
If i hit the "test" button in the audio settings i do hear the test tone.

Right away some request

1. ASIO drivers for audio in/outs
2. Copy/Paste/Duplicate for modules.
3. Option to open "Show C++" etc. with a user selectable program (.txt viewer on Win is a nightmare in terms of text formatting makin the code pratically unreadable)
And some questions...

1. Are the modules i see the only one available for the Mac version or it's just a "light" alfa version for Win?
2. Will it export VST 32/64 bit with multi audio in/outs?
3. There will be VSTTimeInfo module with ppqs, SamplePos etc.?
4. There will be an audio buffer module?
5. There will be FFT/iFFT modules?
6. GUI stuff?

thanks for this gem and all the best!!
