I was quite a holdout myself for a long, long time. The iPhone app does make it rather compulsive though, so if you do take the jump stay away from that little blue icon, it's like crack

I was surprised to find out that this meme is even older than Tau Bassline

Aired on April 8th, 2000, the comedy sketch parodied VH!'s music documentary series "Behind the Music" fictionalizing the studio recording of the 1976 song "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue Öyster Cult. The sketch featured guest host Christopher Walken as music producer Bruce Dickinson and Will Ferrell as fictional cowbell player, Gene Frenkle.

I can see there's a fair bit of anti-facebook sentiment that I didn't expect. However, the Facebook page is gathering quite a few likes at the same time so there's probably enough people that DO use it to make this work.

Admittedly this is just a test to see if this social media thing has legs for us. It's always good to try out new ways to connect with our customers and if its a massive waste of time we'll soon find out.

So for the time being anyway, for those who don't use Facebook, hate it and would rather gouge their eyes out with a rusty spoon than use it well...you're not going to get Tau Bassline 10th Anniversary. Sorry
