I just purchased Egoist for iPad and cannot enable iCloud Sync: when I tap it, nothing happens.

Any suggestions ? My iPad is logged into iCloud.

Found the solution: I needed to go into iPad Settings -> Your Account -> iCloud

And activate iCloud Drive, then Egoist
