Hello,
When starting with an empty Consequence instance and selecting the first synth sound, is it possible to hear the synth by playing MIDI notes from a keyboard to help choosing which sound to use ? And then do the same with the two other instruments, all without having to program anything yet ?
Looks like the only is to put up a gate sequence then play a note on the MIDI keyboard.
Cheers.

Hi mevla,
unfortunately, there is no direct way to pre-listen the Consequence sounds.
So I can only recommend to select the 'absolute empty' preset (to be found in the user folder), activate the first step in the gate sequencer, set the loop length to one step and use the On/Off buttons of the instruments to activate eg. Instrument I only. Then under "Select" in the "Chord Memory" section choose MIDI so that Consequence uses your MIDI notes instead of the chord sequencer.
Best,
Nadine

Thanks. Indeed a single step is all that's needed.
The Sugar Bytes UIs are very well-thought and quite nice. Are there any plans to make them scalable ?
Cheers.

Hi Mevia,
unfortunately, we have no plans for supporting scalable GUIs at the moment.
