Anyone here able to answer a few dumb semi newbie sanity check questions ?

Behringer MS1 and RD8 are both mono output ? (I have a 2x in audio interface right now and could not afford to buy a 4 in for stereo pairs)

Also a 3.5mm jack stereo cable will work as a patch cable just fine ? (to sync the RD8 and MS1)

Asking because I am thinking of buying both as I think they will work well together but I need to know exactly what I may need to buy in terms of extras(cables etc) as I am pushing my budget here.. every penny counts.
