Of course it comes out more expensive than a regular MIDI keyboard – because it often has much more possibilities. It's like requiring Maschine or Push to cost as much as an AKAI MPK Mini keyboard. What for?DJ Warmonger wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 11:04 am There have been some similiar products, but their price is too high - always end up much more expensive than a simple MIDI keyboard, for example.
I think that in our case the price will be adequate to the possibilities offered. However, we would not like to be at the upper price limit – rather average. But I can't promise, it depends on many factors and functionalities.
Yes, of course! If you have a lot of free time and the right skills, because not everyone can do it. It's definitely fun, but all these manufactured controllers exists for some reason.VariKusBrainZ wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 7:59 pmThisDJ Warmonger wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 11:04 am There have been some similiar products, but their price is too high - always end up much more expensive than a simple MIDI keyboard, for example.
And I suspect the same for this product. It needs to be bare bones with no case to compete cost wise.
You can build your own controller relatively cheaply these days

This is definitely a solution, just like the NOB controller (with the difference of using the touchscreen, not the mouse). But this is not a solution for everyone and it is very (like: VERY) limited.VariKusBrainZ wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 8:03 pm Or

Just realised I posted a link to the wrong product!VariKusBrainZ wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2019 8:03 pm Or

Elephant is for repurposing the Surface Dial as midi controller. Click any midi controllable knob with your mouse and Elephant is instantly assigned. Also sends custom keystrokesfrom keyboard/mouse, quite powerful
I meant to post about Chameleon: create your own touch screen controller.

Last but not least Panda: Prevent mouse jump between monitors on multi-monitor touch setups

Get all their software for $9

This may seem because of the modularity and magnetic connectors aspect, but in my opinion Palette (now Creative Console) is completely not adapted to the needs of musicians (for the price of these set-ups you can get a controller with 4 (5? 6?) times more controls). Our goal is to meet the needs of musicians, and even more specifically – users of software synthesizers.Naenyn wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 6:15 pm Seems very similar to Palette / Monogram. https://monogramcc.com/
