Hello guys ,
searching to add synth to my TR 808. "Minimal" means a lot to me so my workflow always stands on catching moods, loops with simple variations, just 808 with few layerings is always ok to me.
Jamming with x0xb0x never gets boring as well but seeking to try something new.
Got chance to play with Kawai 100F and its hell of a fun but its hard to find and its too expensive.
I can say the same about Syncussion SY-1 , expensive. Thinking about Korg Electribe EMS-1 , synth side of it sounds interesting and groove itself but i dont know yet.
Hope i explained clearly.
Sharing track , its close to what i mean and searching for.
Please share your thoughts !

I would recommend you the Novation Bass Station v2
https://novationmusic.com/synths/bass-station-ii
I think you can now have a different sound per key with the new updated software. This synth IMO would be great being controlled by your x0xb0x
Watch some YouTube videos it's a fabulous little synth

For instance..
C1 Key could have 1 preset with a certain filter setting
D1 Key could play a different preset with another setting and so on
or
You could just have each key play 1 preset but with different filter/resonance/distortion amount etc for each key on the synth.

Roland SE-02 has an onboard sequencer and song mode. Each step can have one parameter change assigned.
Also has some cv inputs and outputs.
There’s videos on the web of sequencing the SE-02 with an external device.

Agree. SE-02 is the option. I played with Make Noise 0-Coast yersterday and it picked my interest too..vitocorleone123 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 1:39 am Roland SE-02 has an onboard sequencer and song mode. Each step can have one parameter change assigned.
