Hi,
I have currently a minilogue and to be honest the audio-in seems like one of the most pointless "features" of the synth. I haven't found any real use for it other than being able to use the filter.

When I saw the XD has all these built in effects including drive, verb delay etc I was ready to sell my minilogue because I thought not only are all the features (16 step seq layed out, digital multi-osc etc) seeming very very cool, but I could even route some of my other kit through and use the built in effects of the XD.

From investigating it looks like there isn't an audio input though! Can anyone confirm if that's the case?
Why would Korg put an audio input on the minilogue when all you can really use is the filter, and then take out out of the XD when it has sooo much more to offer in terms of external signal processing? :(

Is there any cheap external multifx engines that offer a similar set of stackable effects including drive that the XD offers so I can just plug my stuff into that? :)

Cheers!

boss and zoom, they both do reasonably priced multi fx stomps for guitar.
most are stereo in and can be used for synths too :)
