Smashed it.
although, it is of course shit. it uses the ladder filter from moog which is objectively "the worst sounding filter ever made"
Yep, anal boy will be along shortly I'm sure.

Get it right Anal boy :tu:

BTW... the that thing looks well cool, I wonder how well it behaves with it's bigger brother the Neutron

Also the Poly Chain feature. Might pay to get 2 of these at this price :)

It's staggering they must be producing these for around €70 - €100. On top of that you need to add packaging, shipping, Behringer margin, retailer margin.

Pretty much! :tu: ... massive amounts of awesomesauce on this one.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

They probably use the cheapest parts possible and order in such numbers individual components are costing pennies, the housing is probably the most expensive part of the kit :hihi:

Will be interesting when I buy one and open it up to see what's inside and also to play with

Actually they aren't really cheaping out on the parts, any parts. That 3340 VCO? They make it themselves, that IC (CoolAudio is owned by Behringer). Surface-mount components of great quality don't necessarily cost a lot when you order them in batches of millions like they do.

I've love Behringer to do more stuff with presets (and ideally VST editor), but this is an absolute steal.
