New NS-10 clone - CLA-10 - overpriced junk or worth trying?

I hear the deluxe package comes with a flat-pack ikea room. It only takes five minutes to assemble.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

I'll keep an eye on them, but I'm not buying them anytime soon (I'm not looking for another set of speakers, I don't have room for them, I'm waiting for some user reports...).
I'm not keen on paying CLA (or anybody else, for the matter) just for putting his name on a product that would sell anyway (if it's true to the original model), but I can live with that if the reports on the speakers are positive.
I'm more concerned about the amp, because these are passive speakers. While I think there's not much to say about NS-10 speakers and the CLA name (both are already very well known), I'd like to know more about a proper amplifier to drive them, in order to have the full picture.

Wildly guessing, given a flat freq response, low noise, low distortion amp of adequate power, I'd be surprised if a listener could hear one amp brand sounding different than any other "clean enough" amp brand. And there are many clean flat powerful amps out there.
Sometimes one can hear a diff between good quality amps if a speaker has weird impedance curve "real hard to drive" but if a speaker is real hard to drive that would be a reason not to buy the speaker, because many quite nice speakers are not real hard to drive. Why bother with something that is trouble from square 1?
I suspect you would have to hook up amps with non-flat freq response, or high noise, or distortions, or maybe inadequate power with clipping and power compression, before it would be easy to hear a diff between amp models. Odd thing though, certain freq response oddities or distortions might make the user prefer the nastier amp-- Thinking the nastier amp actually sounds better or higher fidelity or whatever. Hard to say.

NS-10's are brutal pull a good mix on them and you know it will sound good on anything, but they are somewhat surpassed these days.Im very happy with my Dynaudio system.

A lot of marketing snake oil going on here in my opinion. I love CLA and I love my original NS-10s but if you dig that sound there are plenty of original pairs stick knocking about on sell it sites. I'd go that route first.
Cheers,
Mark.
