Hi guys, I'd like to show you a review I have made for what is in my opinion the best compromise between price and quality when it comes to 88key midi controllers. :D

Looks like a good option, but are these sold and serviced in the U.S.?

They are only available in Europe, but you can get them shipped over to the US.

Just stumbled on this - thanks for the review, Vocoded Glasses... are you affiliated with Thomann / Swissonic or is this independent?

I've been looking for a decent quality semi-weighted 88 note keyboard for years. Chewed up 2 M Audio es88s, both awful. Really I just need a quality, reliable keyboard and wheels, but must confess aftertouch would be lovely. So keen to hear of anyone with hands on experience of this which I'm desperately hoping is the answer to my prayers. Unless I get some back feedback, I'd better buy it before the UK kicks itself out of the EU, like the fools we are.

Just received it. Looks solid, touch is average (my old PSR630 is more sensitive)
The main issue is that I cannot assign the knobs/faders via midilearn (Reaktor, Massive etc...)
So it is beautiful, but, for me, useless
Hope there is a solution...

I have had a Privia PX-3 (Casio's pro line back in 2013) for six years or so, and it is a workhorse. Other than not having sliders it is pretty awesome. One of the better hammer-action keyboards around (much better than my 45 pound Roland RD-700 which was retired when I got this) as well as being a full capability 4-zone MIDI controller with Pitch Bend thrown in. Most of the voices are very usable and fully programmable from the keyboard (and a good complement to my Nord Electro)...lots of I/O
See this factory YouTube

These are occasionally available as NOS, but they have also kept improving the line

I'd look closely at Nektar LX88+, an 88 key controller with pads and all. It looks great (like much more expensive than it is) and has done well in reviews (best 88-key controller in MusicRadar for example).

(I've also heard good things about the Swissonic products, so congrats on your buy!)
