My vote would be for your first suggestion to move this one to the Guitar forum, lock it and put links in it to the new thread.

What do you think of the price and are these well made guitars? Is it an archtop? I was told they went for $599 new back in 2006 and that they were entry level guitars. I want a big jazz box that sound good unplugged as well. I had a Dangelico ExL1 but it did not sound good unplugged.
