Your next guitar?

Holding off with the guitar pipe dreams, I'm trying to resurrect and improve what I already have.
My first foray into guitar maintenance, first refret attempt on a MIJ Tokal Strat. I paid £90 for its first refret circa 1995. I managed to get some hard fret wire for this, dreading snipping it. Managed to get these 2 in with a quick clamp with plastic inserts on the metal jaws, still waiting for a fret hammer to arrive.

That sounds like a piezo pickup. Clip it to the body of the guitar and it will pick up the vibration.

I've been having fun with my new Cordoba flamenco guitar, and before I went to bed, compared the acoustic sound to my cheap Stagg electro-acoustic. Man, does that Stagg sound sweet, acoustically! That triggered some buyer's anxiety, so I gave Thomann's audio samples another listen. I compared the Cordoba to both a Cordoba classical and the best selling classical, a Takamine, and still like the flamenco guitar better.
Not sure what to conclude from this, except:
- I wish there was a big shop close by to check things out for myself
- classical guitars can sound very sweet
- that Stagg was quite the bargain, if my ears are to be trusted - too bad about the cheap (yet OK) electronics though
- I'm wondering how much of a part strings play. I put some relatively expensive d'Addario Pro-Arté strings on the Stagg, while the Cordoba is still factory fitted with cheaper Savarez classical ones. Perhaps I shouldn't wait for those to age, but fit the Savarez T50J Tomatito flamenco strings I bought immediately.
I'm gonna look for a luthier to reduce the Cordoba's action.

Left on my guitar wish list:
- a baritone (or 7 string)
- a powerful tremolo
After hours of research, I gave up and went for a pedal instead. Should arrive in a few days.
https://digitech.com/en/products/whammy-5th-gen
That leaves me with this arsenal:
- Variax 5 string bass
- Harley Benton Beatbass clone
- Ibanez Artstar semi
- Cordoba Pro Negra flamenco
- Stagg classical electro-acoustic (now largely redundant)
- a baritone (or 7 string)
- a powerful tremolo

- my tuning problems are prolly heating related (gas stove in a drafty house)
I'm gonna put up a wanted ad for a sexy female assistant to fetch my guitar from it's case when my feline overlords have me immobilized in the sofa.
- I finally contacted a local distributor, asking if I could order a Revelation RJT60-M TL.
Donkey Tugger (and YouTube guitar god Dave Simpson) should ask for a referral fee
They're all sold out and it will take a while. I hope the UK won't have brexitted globally by then
