ATM contact me thru the link above or PM. I'll edit this in the near future.

Music : I like all kinds of music. I have special interest for musics that combine organic and synts. And for patches with organic feel and expressivity.

Sound Designers of KVR Please make a Bank for the Andromeda A6 (Analog hardware synth) if you own it or get access to one!

Hi there, well... in such illustrious company I'm a little fish, but I have been around KVR for a long while [in fact, had I joined when I first started lurking, I'd have been number 2500 or thereabouts....]

name.... dan broad

synths..... FM7, Albino, Access VirusTI, now Nord Lead3, Yamaha Motif XS, FM7 again

Devs... none, no-one's ever asked  [cue violins...] ....maybe it's because I'm on a mac :hihi: ..

References... none really, but I get a kick out of seeing positive comments about my stuff..

Favourite synthesis.... FM [obvious, really]; but loving the NL3 interface and the motifXS's versatility..

Contact? PM, or just shout loud enough. Will work for food... alright, will work for free - but my career often gets in the way of regular committment [just ask my wife!].... it does pay for my hobby, though..

Greets to all here, your work means a great deal to many people..

No one of you with an Andromeda A6?
Well I guess it's mostly VSTi's here.

Hi, I'm Midihead. Glad to be in the company of you all. I am familiar with a few of you with whom I respect and have enjoyed your sound design. Patchen, Big Tone, Ben Crosland, Skippy, Frank Nuemann, Vengeance...I know I'm missing a few (sorry it's late). Anyway, though I'm not new to sound design, I'm fairly new to releasing my work commercially. Up until just recently I focused most of my attention on music production. I have a couple of SoundBlocks on the Samplebase website:

www.samplebase.com/midihead

Rather than blather on about myself, I'd rather just thank everyone for the sonic inspiration. So "thank you"! I hope to become at least as good at creating inspiring sounds as many of you are.

With humble respect,

M

I've been working on the following hardware: CS1x, Waldorf Pulse, DSI Evolver.
Software: Arturia Prophet V, Korg Legacy Collection, Propellerheads Reason (Subtractor, Malström, Thor, NN-19/NN-XT and the Combinator obviously) and a bunch of free VSTi.

I have only done a freelance gig for propellerhead. I developed the free add-on refill for the Reason Pianos ReFill. I also developed Radiant Emission, one of the demo songs for Reason 4.

My web reference would be the Propellerhead Free ReFill Archive were you can find the Minimoog ReFill and Voltage Controlled Vol.1 & 2, all of which are free ReFills.

For my commercial work you can visit my producer page at PowerFX

I don't prefer any special synthesis method but I do have more experience in working with subtractive based synthesis of different kinds. I am however experimenting with the FM and PM oscillators in Thor quite a lot and read up on all the tips I can get in the areas that I don't yet master.

You can contact me by PM'ing me here or through Propellerhead User Forum.

Cheers!
