Hello,
I would like to know how to contract an Xfer Synth Serum sound designer here at KVR audio.
I am looking for a musical sound designer (synthesizer sounds recreation) versus a technical sound designer (a plug-in designer)
I have a specific job where the sound designer would have to be seasoned and could emulate an Alchemy synthesizer sound that I provide but in Xfers Serum.
I say "emulate" because I would like the sound designer to be able reproduce the same tone but with a "newer"...much improved reproduction of the same sound idea.
I will have all the job terms and/or expectations listed once I can confirm that its appropriate to request services for pay here at KVRaudio
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kiva Dour
P.S. short sound loop available upon confirm

Hi Kiva (cool name btw)
It would help if you say what kind of sounds you want to recreate.
If you have a few examples the good folks here at KVR Sound Design can show you how good they are.
I'm very good at certain sounds but terrible at others (probably cause I never spend time trying to make them or learning how to)
Let us know,
Charles

CHOOS,
Okay.
Here are the sounds.
https://soundcloud.com/plasmacarwash/ti ... -sept-2019
https://soundcloud.com/plasmacarwash/ti ... -sept-2019
No one ones going to take the song to the limit I am anyway.
(However your best meditation is appreciated in advance.)
-------
The first of the two audio files are what the sound does on its own without any help.
One key pressed on the keyboard for a limited 'time'.
The second is the riff I am trying to advance in overall tone and timbre.
It has a very unique bite-grit that I fear won't be reproduced in any synth.
Additionally, there are qualities of human speach, speak.
These will also be hard to incorporate.
Why I am trying to reproduce this?
I am positive there is a better source material I could use rather than.... either/or.... isolate the very waveform(s) used in Alchemy in the making of this sound and try to manipulate it better in its native synthesizer or instead seek to arrive at a sound extruded the identical way as Alchemy but make the timbre a more advanced sound of today.
Hence the choice of Xfers Serum.
I don't want 2 shelac this sound with compressors, EQs, or misappointed MIDI FX (step sequencers).
I want to recreate it into the life it portrays now but without the analog death knell of a time gone by.
Is what I am trying to describe impossible?
I think not.
This is why I posted here.
Is there anyone who can help?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kiva Dour

Those are Awesome.
I'll definitely give it a try.
OK so I had a look and I'm pretty sure it's a matter of using the right wave tables to FM with.
I've never delved into that much so someone else might help with it.
Other than that it's a simple arp midi wise.
Good luck

CHOOS,
Thank you.
Maybe you helped direct a sound designer to me also?
IDK.
His name is 'MRM'.
We'll see how it all goes.
Thank you for your experience in this matter.
It is invaluable.
Thanks again.
