How to make these drums?

What kind of drum kit can I use to make the drum beats? (wait for them....)

What is the drum pattern you hear? I definitely hear the kick, but I don't know what the other drum sounds are. A hihat maybe? Can you tell what the drum pattern is?

Also, anyone know how to make these violin sounds without an actual violin?
