Sweet deal indeed. I'm a big fan of old skool house and garage and among other vintage samples (MPC, Roland, vinyl, ...) I'm still using the old E-mu samples from their different units/soundbanks (Orbit, Mo'phatt, ...) quite a bit for my own tracks. Each one contains ....loads of all sorts of drum hits from back in the day, either grouped as kits or patches of just hihats, snares, claps, kicks, perc, FX, ...
For a first look you could download the free Proteus VX VST that comes with a huge soundbank with lots of drumkits. In case you need more you could buy the original soundbanks mentioned above in different formats (E-mu, sf2, Kontakt, ...) from digitalsoundfactory.com.
