Hi guys, I spend a quite a lot of time on the road, and I need a good USB/MIDI controller mainly for programming / sound design. When I'm at home I have other solutions (knobby but weighty keyboards etc), but I need something to put in my backpack to work with when I'm on my laptop. When I'm traveing I mainly write music and make new sounds, and don't do much in terms of serious mixing work, so the controller will mostly be used for programming softsynths (hence why I'm asking in this section of KVR). Of course, it would be a nice bonus if I could also use it for mixing work too, though.

There's a used Nektar Panorama P1 for sale not too far from where I'm located right now. Would that be a good solution? Or do you have better suggestions?

Thanks for any and all input.
