Hey everyone, does anyone know how to make this lead sound in the Tal U-NO-62? If it's possible please let me know because my synthesis knowledge is not very good.

It's just a saw. Unless I'm missing something?
If you can specify when the sound starts so I know what to listen for

Anyway let me know

I guess it starts at 20sec and is repeated at 1.59s...

Haha...old laser dance stuff I also listened to in the 80s...lol

yeah it's a saw with a filter with a high resonance that sweeps down, controlled by an envelope.

It started at 5 seconds in, that stringy lead sound.

That’s a saw pad from a Roland Juno synth, I’d say Chorus is used, and a slow attack and slightly long release with a saw wave should work. I think you can get presets like that in UNO-62 patch banks.
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

Maybe this thread is dead allready, but there is oscillator sync in that lead thing at 0:20. And you don't have that on your TAL-UNO-62.

You could try Ichiro Toda's Synth1. Which is also free, not too complicated yet very versatile and which does have oscillator sync. There are also thousands of free presets for Synth1 on the web to get you started/inspired.

If you crave the UNO's chorus. That's freely available from TAL

[edit]

I found that their main synths were the Roland Juno 60 and the Roland JX10, which does have Oscillator sync.

So try you luck on the excellent free Dead Duck - DJX10

Or PG8X. It has a default preset that sounds exactly like it. It has sync.

Even though the JX-8 is only half the machne a JX-10 is....;-)

+1 for Martin Luder's free and excellent PG8X (Roland JX-8P emulation)
