Hi,

I am curious to understand how to design the sound that the artist Igorrr uses in lot of his tracks.
It's kind of granularized/glitchy effect on the kick that sounds so crispy and organic and powerful.

It seems that is granulazing the tail of the kick reducing the density (or increasing the size) of the grains.

You can here for example in "Probleme d'emotion" starting from 2:12:

I also love how it is used also before the kick hit creating a big tension (at 2:28 to 2:33) and then as huge falling bass at 2:34.
From 2:41 to 3:08 is a little abused, but I think it is sounding very massive! I love it! Sometime it reminds me the rumble of a thunder!

It is used also in other tracks as in "ieuD" at 1:09 (and the hit with organic falling tail at 1:12) and in a more rhythmic way from 1:25 to 1:29:

Do you have an idea how to reproduce a sound like that?

Thank you.

Breaktweaker.

Or just a regular sampler with the ability to modulate loop points.
