Nope gesellig in Afrikaans means social or social able or hospitality or hospitable. . In other words very friendly and hospitable. Comfortable in Afrikaans is gemaklik and cosy is snoesig. The other meaning of gesellig in Afrikaans is like when you accept someone elses company or social interaction you are known as "n gesellige persoon" or when some makes you feel comfortable in their companionship , home or company they are known as "gesellige mense"
