Not too bad for the price, and I kinda like that GUI.

Not one bad thing to say about it here, it is for sure - a no-brainer at that price.
I also have Modo Bass, Sampletank 4, Bass Slapper, etc. Also a real Fender Precision bass too. This fits very nicely into my "collection".
I do not mind the load times, the effects and amps sound nice, presets are pretty good to start with, and the interface is both nice to look at and easy to deal with.

^^^ that's actually a good video demo, one of the better ones i've seen in a while. they did a good job of leading you into what they wanted to demo. everything was done by guys who can play well. the only thing i disagree with is that the low end doesn't resonate like a real base. it's a very polished base IMO. if i were to plug a real base into my speakers i could rattle the walls. this is more about the string behavior, like i said. pay attention to the part about the glide, because that is the real sell point here. you get that player glide in transition, often perfectly unexpectedly. as a keyboard player i appreciate that. probably will be using this a good bit, i don't own modo base tho.

Shows up there at over $41 usd; jrrshop is less than $22 with code FORUM.
I pretty much swore off Waves plugins after bad Waves Central experience or other Waves-related issue(s). Wonder if Bass Fingers is worth the potential hassle.
When does the sale end?

Contrived and cringey It would have been just as effective without pretending that one of the developers had no idea what was going on.greg12000 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:24 am A video from the 2 guys who developed the plugin:

And there really is nothing new about movable fret positioning. Musiclab have been doing this with their guitar models for ages.
It does sound good, though.

Why you would play a note in a certain position is interesting. Keeping out of the singers range for example. I had no idea people thought that intelligently about how they play bass in a group setting. Thanks for the link greg12000.

Hey guys - Eyal Amir here (lead developer for Bass Fingers).
I was really happy to see all the comments regarding our plugin!
As for the our video you posted, it’s important to note that I left Waves recently to work for another plugin company, and did this video with Or Lubianiker on my own time just to be able to share some of the aspects about it that we thought are cool and maybe less talked about (positional control/etc).
Even though I wrote all the code for that - it still helps me to get Or׳s feedback about where to place specific lines on the ‘neck’, so we hoped sharing this little bits of info would help some players, even if you can do the same in another plugin.
Anyway, I’ll be happy to see what people who demo the plugin think! I can’t say if it’s better than MODO Bass or any other plugin for your use though... I’m not very objective in that sense.

I downloaded demo and keep getting Error Loading Sample Library.
I pointed it to both SD and HD sample folders (including Data folder) but no success.
Any tips for getting it to work?

Perhaps see if downloading the samples manually (instead of through Central) works better. You can get them here:

Thanks for link, maybe my initial download didn't complete. After letting it run overnight, I came back to find the initial installation screen. Folder structure looked "complete" so I thought it may have done its thing.
Will try manual download I guess since I have until Sunday to test and decide whether I want Waves on my computer at all.

Well, let me know if you run into any problems.
I do realize the Waves ecosystem (Waves Central, shell, etc) can be a bit of burden sometimes, espeically if you only use one of their plugins. So hopefully this one plugin will be good enough to get you passed that.
