Hello,
I'm looking for a Vsti like BreakTweaker for use in Reaper where you can load in a 1 bar beatloop on a track in the vsti and chop part of it in a cue region (see picture). The problem with BreakTweaker is that it only has a one shot sampler so the cue region (read the multiple beats) isn't synced with the BPM of the project. What I do like about BreakTweaker is that you can load in multiple samples on different tracks in BreakTweaker and that the length of the note is as long as how much of the cue region is played so if the note is 1/3 of the cue region you should only hear 1/3.
The problem with Serato Sample is that it doesn't have a multitrack sequencer like BreakTweaker where you can also load in parts of other beats. Also Serato Sample's beat detection for 1 bar loops is realllly bad and you can't change it manually. What it does is that the whole cue regions are synced with the bpm of the project
I cut up a 1 bar beatloop (with a beatloop of 134 BPM) up in Breaktweaker in three cue regions to show you what the problem is. In picture one the sequencer overview and in picture two what is in track 1 of that sequence. Also I made an audio example in which I play this sequence on 100 BPM. You can listen to it here: https://soundcloud.com/marinus-g-lwd/breaktweaker
I already tried Transfuser 2, Geist 2, HY-Slicer, TX16WX, Vice, Regroover and Egoist. But maybe I'm missing a setting so if I'm wrong please let me know.
Hope I explained it the right way and that you can help me.

If you have Reaktor, you can try Twisted Tools Ultraloop. You have 8 loops, which are broken up into divisions and you can slow or speed up the original speed (would check the manual as it's been a while since I used this).
Would have thought you could do this in Geist as well as it does feature time-stretching, although possibly not on individual hits (again, check the manual). If it's on the global loop, you could just check different speed versions on different engines and just program beats between them.

Thing is I want this done automaticly like in Serato Sample. Also the possibility to have only part of the sample being played in the geist2 sequencer isn't possible.shonky wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 5:26 am If you have Reaktor, you can try Twisted Tools Ultraloop.
