SynthMaster 2 SynthMaster One

Post

Hey All,

I'm super interested in Synthmaster as an all in one kind of synth, mostly so I only have to learn the one interface as I having a whole bunch of different ones makes it hard for me to keep up. Is it worth the purchase? Is the sound up to scratch?

Post

Oh and I also forgot does anyone know if updates cost extra? Thanks

Post

Yes, it worth the purchase. You can download a demo though and make the decision based on that :)

Yeah I have been, It's been pretty great so far. I just thought at that price compared to other options there had to be a catch haha. Thanks!

Post

Synthmaster is great and the developer is pretty cool, so i'd say it's definitely worth buying imho.

Post

It can do a lot and it sounds good. If you like the interface and enjoy using it then it's absolutely worth the money.

Yes it is worth it

Are you talking about Synthmaster One or Synthmaster 2.9 ?

Synthmaster One is really intuitive and has a fast workflow. It's one of the best one page synths out there now, easily rivaling the likes of Hive, Sylenth1 etc. Synthmaster 2.9 is a workhorse synth but the UI can be a bit tedious to go over at times. If you can get over the UI and the workflow suits you, SM 2.9 is the best synth for the price. Nothing even comes close.

The update to v3.0 will be $29 but it is gonna be worth every penny I can assure you (The price of SM3 will be $139 when it is released)

Also, at the end of 2019 we're releasing iPad AND iPhone versions of SynthMaster 2.9, and Android in 2020.

SynthMaster voted #1 in MusicRadar's "Best Synth of 2019" poll

Bulent, any indication on when SM v3.0 will be released? Even the beta? When it's released, I'll gladly give you my money. I can't wait for its release! :hyper:

Best value for money around. Period. Both of them.

Very solid sound engine. On the graphics/UX side, they are not perfect, but at their price while on sale, both them are terrific deals.

Just notice that both them have the same core sound engine, they are just different regarding editing power and therefore complexity. S One aims to be simple and friendly, S 2.9 is all about editing power, even if that means a learning curve, spending lots of time and overwhelming the user sometimes. Both them are solid, they just have different use cases.

Wow, I think you're covered, man. The key for Synthmaster One against the ones you listed is simplicity, and maybe, if you fancy, waveshapes from classic synths such as Korg Delta or MS-20... But man, your list is impressive, you're all set.
