I'm sorry. I might have used the wrong word. With replica I mean emulation. I'm looking for free software emulations of real instruments. Like Dexed is a replica / emulation of the DX 7.
I gave up trying to get the library for Dexed. It doesn't work.
Somebody suggested synths from TAL. I found one that is an emulation of a real instrument from Roland.
Srping sounded interesting. But I did not find this instrument. Is Spring a replica/emulation of a real instrument ?

Search Google for free soundfonts or sfz's to play in your daws sampler.Nena2 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2019 10:49 pm I am looking for free instruments that replicates real instruments.
So far I've downloaded something called Dexed. It is a replica of the Yamaha DX 7 that we used to have in the house.
But I miss the sounds from the real instrument. I found no extra sounds for Dexed.
Is there a list of free software replica of real instruments ?
Only 64bit please.
I also want drums and acoustic instruments.
Thank you

Do you mean real instruments like guitar, bass, drums, organs? Or real synths, like roland, moog, oberheim, etc? Or both? (Sorry if I miss the obvious...)Nena2 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 5:54 pm I'm sorry. I might have used the wrong word. With replica I mean emulation. Anyway, I'll try some of both:
DRUMS: Sennheiser Drummica, link is to native forum: https://www.native-instruments.com/foru ... ee.198219/
Also: Powerdrumkit 2: https://www.powerdrumkit.com/
ORGANS: I repeat the link to the Martinic organs, very good Vox continental and Farfisa emulations: http://www.vst4free.com/index.php?dev=Martinic
For hammond organs check these out; https://blog.wavosaur.com/7-free-vsts-f ... emulation/ - I don't think they are all 64 bit, but 32 bit plugins can be bridged to 64 bit.
SYNTHS: Roland JP8000 has been emulated in superwave P8, a great free synth: http://www.superwavesynths.com/p8
Minimoog: https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/151 - this may be only 32 bit, but nothing is cooler than a minimoog, so bridge it.
And here is a great free mellotron: http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?pl ... SE&id=2452 - I think this is 32 bit too.
Also, try https://bedroomproducersblog.com/ - it's a great resource for free vst and vsti - and as always: Google is your best friend, lots of great things to find. The search, reviews and ratings here at kvr are great too...

Thank you so much Raksha.
I'm sorry. I of course mean both acoustic instruments and synthesizers (they are real instruments too, right?)
Your suggestions are great. Have you got some more ?

Completely free, easy to use, fun for some unique sounds that other free synths cannot do:

scuse me for mentioning one of mine, but samplers, no.
use a resynthesis engine like 'resyn' (free) which will shift the pitch without shifting the spectrum. prepare some short samples in 44.1k of instruments you want the sound of, you're set.
there are doubtlessly many samplers with good patches available you'll want to try, and synthesizers which emulate real sounds and will help you learn about synthesis.
