This upgrade will have a completely overhauled user interface, new modulation sources, NKS support, and more... Hive 2 will be backwards compatible with Hive 1.x.

Pricing: The upgrade will cost 20€. Users who either recently bought Hive (after January 20th) or will buy Hive before the upgrade is released will get a version 2 license for free.

Design wise, it looks cool, judging from that little snap shop image. Having both waveform displays being visible whilst still retaining the symmetry aspect is great also. On a personal taste side, I'm not keen on the green and purple/pink colours and the rounded knob design. But otherwise, it looks promising...

Apparently each section of the Hive will be color-coded. Plus, it's U-he...you can always make your own skin.

I'll be really intrigued in how my own black Hive GUI skin will look with the new revised 2.0 design and to see how much I'll have to tweak or completely change as a result. Fun times ahead...

Hive (and one preset in it) is the reason why I started to make psytrance.
