(read note about the attachement preset volume)
The left side of that bottom orange panel is great fun
with audio input. 16 options to rework the sounds.
Using very slow rate, and ramp or sine,
some great wind and filter sweeps can be made,
and the waveshaper choices can add some grit/distortion
to them.

At faster rate and different settings,
some fun rythmic accompanyments
to the guitar sound are available,
'and more' :hyper:

note:

Surge apparently opens with Master Volume maxed out :dog:
the master volume setting in the .fxp is much lower
but when first loaded, lower Surge Master volume first.

I added an example wind preset, used in reaper
with guitar, (but doesn't need the guitar)
it is NOT a .zip
rename the extension to .fxp
Cheers

rightmousebutton works now in newer builds.
bad bug has been fixeded.
esaruoho wrote: Fri Jan 11, 2019 8:24 pm The list of wavetables will not load unless if all the resources have been properly installed. In newer builds + installers (check my signature for a link to kzantow's automated builds from January 2019, taking the kurasu/surge github repo's newest state and wrapping it into 64-bit windows+macos installers), the preference / resource / preset / wavetable copying works better. Check it out :)
Right-click to bring up dropdown menu was one of the first things fixed in-or-around November 2018.
Oh damn, sorry for late reply, long time not track this topic. Did check just now latest release - waves list opens properly ! Thank you, good work.

But i puzzled a bit about builds.

We have this:
Jorgeelalto wrote: Sat Jan 12, 2019 11:09 am You will always (until further notice) find the latest versions at https://kzantow.github.io/surge/ :)
and this:
https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/releases/ (link from esaruoho's signature)

So, first case build dated by 2019-01-12, and second is newer, by 2019-01-25. But Esaruoho as well gave the kzantow link here many times as i see incl. recently.

So, what version\build more right ?

https://surge-synthesizer.github.io

check the "Download Latest macOS Build" or "Download Latest Windows Build".

The packagename will have a date on it, make sure it is, for instance, newer than 25th of January 2019.

Post

p.s. the new windows + macos 64bit builds are at https://surge-synthesizer.github.io nowadays, no longer on the kzantow url.

Post

esaruoho Ok thank you.

Post

to make things easier, kzantow fixed the url so that it redirects to the surge-synthesizer.github.io url.

hope this helps.

Hm, but there just "Surge-master-Setup.exe" , without date in name.

I just want to say thanks to you and everyone involved in making this project happen. And thank you to the developer for releasing this code!

That's what I got, too: an executable file with no date, version number, or anything to tell us which version it is in the filename.

still some things to be ironed out, but yep, that is always the newest. you can install it and check the Surge about screen and check the date. it should be newer than 20th January 2019.

So is anyone planning on doing anything that would interest people who never stopped using surge? (like me).
I mean like vowel filters, new wave warping sliders, or even a new skin?

Just curious, as i'm seeing no reason to update from my commercial version yet?

Or could we at least get the HP filter to default on it's lowest value on the innit patch, rather than what it is now?

Just installed the latest version to find it has GUI scaling. Much welcomed. :tu:
