I just updated Omnisphere to 2.5 and for some reason, it keeps crashing Ableton Live.

Anyone else having similar problems and hopefully a solution?

Ableton Live support is very responsive. Give them a shout.

I had BOTH the beta and the final 2.5 production release crash on initial load in Ableton. But after that initial crash, I have not had any more issues. I am running Ableton Live 10 Suite on Windows 10. Have you tried running the standalone application?

I got in contact with Spectrasonics. They recommended I create a dummy diagnistic file to create a log file but I couldn't get it to work.

No word from Ableton yet.

I experience a lot of crashes in Ableton 9.7 (Win 8.1 64 bits) since updating Omnisphere to 2.5. When I add Omnisphere to a project, it seems to work fine, but everytime I want to load another project, Ableton crashes, even if I delete the omnisphere track before changing project. I just mailed Ableton support, and will do the same with spectrasonics.

Anybody having similar issue?

I have the same problem since omnisphere 2.5. It loads my project, but as soon I want to play it crashes. When i first deactivate the plugin and activate the omniphere plugin after it started playing, it doesn't crash and I can use it.

Yeah happens in mine 10.0.3. It wont load some sessions with instances of Omni on.

Anyone contacted Spectrasonics support on this? Sounds fairly easy to reproduce, get them on it.

I have contacted both Ableton and Spectrasonics and sent them my crash logs yesterday. We'll have to wait for their reply.

when i load new instances of omnisphere I have no problems. It's about old projects only on some few presets.

Crashing when closing Ableton 9.7 projects. No way to avoid it. No news from both Ableton and Spectrasonics.
Win 7 here (I guess it is a dead OS already...).

I've been having some grief with a project of mine for a few weeks now ;it falls over during launch and crashes Live. I originally put it down to Max4Live, because I was also having problems with that, but a second project of mine has just this evening started falling over and crashing Live. The common denominator and most likely suspect, I believe, is Omni 2.5, which I have used almost exclusively in both projects. I've raised a ticket with Ableton and Spectrasonics support and will share any useful information I get about this issue from either party. Omni 2.5.1, Live 10.0.4, Windows 10 FYI.

I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 thinking that may fix the problem but still seems to crash a lot.

I wonder if the 32 bit version works better
