Its not a bug, I probably did something wrong, thats why I have to rewrite the entire gui code from scratch

I sent you a PM

Since people talk about bugs in here atm, I can address a bug I've found in Viper relating to waveforms.
If I use custom waveforms in a patch in a project and later on close the project and re-open the project, the custom waveform will not load in Viper. Instead, it will load a waveform from the factory folder. See video here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfCW3-J ... e=youtu.be

This also happens with factory patches as well if I save a project, shut down FL Studio and then re-open FL Studio and the project: https://i.imgur.com/E9OLki9.jpg You can see here how it loads sync2 in osc 1 & 3, but on osc 3 it says wave06 but the sound is sync2 waveform.

Could possibly be a FL Studio 20 problem since I've had issues with FL Studio deleting my loaded plugins in the mixer on at least 2 occasions before. I've had problems in FL Studio with knobs moving in ways the shouldn't in Viper and Sylenth1.

I would have to look at Adam's control build-
AFAIK this doesn't always happen
Here's the Bitwig test of my Ruby piano roll->

Can you please PM me your waveform folder so I can test it with your file structure as well

@Adam, other than the above, what are the plans for Viper going forward? Does GUI rewrite also include change of the overall appearance, because current one is rather basic / simplistic? What about new filter types, more types of oscillators, more flexible effects, more convenient modulation matrix, better browser (I don't get the idea of banks), etc?

I'm really tempted to finally buy it, but paying the full price I'd love to know where its heading. Not necessarily when, because I'm aware it's a one-man show :)

@antic604, Yes there are lots of plans for the future. I dont think I will be able to change the browser and the matrix, those are fixed, I think loading banks works fine.

Regarding the GUI rewrite I hope to increase the performance of the GUI, plus faster loading times (I believe its related to that), and also user skins so everyone can change the appearance to their liking. I will also add wavetable oscillators so you can load wavetables from serum and other synths. Then of course new effetcs, and an update to the reverb, plus I want to strip out the reverb and make it a little free plugin, a lot of people would like that.

However, fixing bugs are the first priority, once there are no more issues then I can add new features ;)

I smell irony. Sadly from what you said above it seems to me you are not aware how VAT things work in the first place.

Store is selling something with VAT added already. You pay it when you order something. If you are buying as a company different terms could be applied. You do not pay double VAT what are you talking about? I never heard anyone paying VAT to something they bought (and paid VAT) at the end of the year.

Let me ask you other way. Perhaps you'll get it. You buy a coffee in bar. You already paid VAT. Do you list it on your yearly declaration and you you pay VAT for it (again). What are you talking about?

Before we do in types of goods and different VAT rates - i visited this thread to see plugin progress but last two pages are spreading misconceptions and licensing talk.

Can we get on topic? You can PM me for your VAT questions.

I found next bug. I see problem with ''random'' function in mod matrix. For example: I add random (source) to filter cut off in mod matrix. When I renderig track to the file, sound is completely different than in daw.

Thats not a bug, its expected behavior, other synths do it the same way. Random function create random values that do not repeat, its going to sound different every time you play it even in the daw and when you export it.

Adam, you understand me.

Sound is random only when viper play in daw. When You render to the file, sound is completely different - not random with every midi note. This is no normal.

I see problem with random function when sound is rendering.
