now that i understand it my question seemed fairly stupid. Thank you

Jesus mother fu... Why it had to be so fu*king loud!??!!
the noise burst is at -12dB
I dont know how loud you had your speakers...

Just a quick question - is there any way to save LFO presets?
Or do you just use the 3 custom shapes and store them with a preset?
It would be cool if you could create your shape once, save it and easily load it in another preset.

I'm new here, so maybe you can do this - I just haven't found it.

Whenever possible, use a ModEnv - it's way easy to draw custom shapes. If you save a preset containing a custom LFO you can only edit it as you can't copy/paste the shapes anyway.

BTW, I never understood why the LFO's are placed where they currently reside, instead of being next to envelopes tab and have bigger layout and presets browser. (Not to mention the complete chaotic order of tabs - like drums sequencer before the actual sound design tools like pitch and mod envelope tabs)

OK - thanks sircuit.
I don't want to do anything complex, just a default LFO shape for wavetable scanning. Vibrato would be another one, but that's already "built in".
I think where the LFOs are is weird too - but there is a *lot* there, so it can't be easy to find a perfect place for everything ;)

you cant store lfo shapes, but - as said - you can store modenvs, and tbh this is the "better" lfo
but if you want to make shapes for wavetable scanning, the wavetable module has its OWN envelope, which hast loop mode (becomes lfo). You can save these, too
the order is quite logical to me. The DrumSQ is next to the arp and the stepSq

Yes, but they should not be in front of the list. The sound design tabs are the editor, envelopes (pitch/mod), the lfos and the sequencer - they should be at the top of the list. Then you'd have the midi modifiers: arp, drum seq and Zones. Finally Mixer and Sys. This would be a logical grouping. The least 3 used modules get tabs 2-4 and the most used modulator gets tab number 6 :)

It would be great if we could have "full" view for Osc's, Arp, ModEnv, StepSQ, Editor, etc, like Zebra 2.8 Osc/MSEG Editor. I am sure it is ok for big screens, but on my macbook it would be great to have this option for more pristine results.

Hi Miguel,
You mean the wavetable envelope? That can be used to scan the wavetable?
I'll go see if I can figure it out...

Never mind - I found it! On the editor tab.
I thought this was for something else.
Give me some time - I'm new here, and there's a lot to get used to ;-)

attention irony: maybe you should design your own VSTi? Then you could do it like your personal taste is and I can tell you then, that I would have done it differently.

My reasoning has nothing to do with my personal taste. I went through all the modern soft synths I own and not a single one is having the LFOs crammed in a corner, away from the envelopes/steppers. Not a single one.

I suppose If you'd design a car, you'd place the break pedal in front of right chair.

I would place it in front of the left chair😁

Any chance to add real hard sync on Avenger using a master osc and slave osc in the future
