Bought it immediately, based on the reputation of their other Silverline Plugins. It's definitely a versatile box, with a nice smooth subtle flanging going on. I've never used the Mistress that this is based on, but I can confidently say that Antresol has a great sound and it can a great job of making a sound fit in the mix.
Read ReviewYeah, cool... Flangers are still not very popular among developers. So I still miss a good one. Will test yours.
This announcement makes my day!! There was already several products offering thinly disguised emulations of the Electro Harmonix's EM (eg. in the AmpliTube suite IIRC). But after ArtsAcoustic's Big Rock, which I happily purchased and used, I was for quite some time waiting for a product claiming to offer a /faithful/ (if not 100% perfect, like AA does with Big Rock -- D16 only states "exceptionally accurate", which to any neurotic nerdy and anal-retentive maniac might just not sound good enough) reproduction of the original Electric Mistress, in order to round up a set of essential Jarre-oriented effects. I had a couple of time asked to AA whether they'd consider doing to the EM what they already did for the Smallstone (could never even get a reply BTW, a shame -- although I know they are a very small company (smaller than D16 maybe?) and since I was not a customer but only a potential one, well...). Doesn't matter much now anyway! Looks like this fits the bill and will prolly be my next purchase... Thanks D16 for finally bringing an accurate Electric Mistress emulation (way too long expected stuff!!).
Looks and sounds like another winner for D-16 Group. Fantastic.
D16 releases unique and useful plugins. This is a must buy for me.
