Wusik has updated Wusik Station to v8.0.2 and Wusik 4000 & 8000 to v1.1.2.

Changes in Wusik Station v8.0.2:

  • The Tree File Browser now has a new option that let you link manually any older Wusik Station / Wusik EVE Data folders and also up to 3 extra user folders (which you can rename them in any way you want to show on the tree view). Click on the top area to open up the options menu and click on "Manage Extra Folders". The linked folders are also used by the sample player to check for preset sounds.
  • WS Legacy Filter: fixed a crash when the filter was in Bypass mode and some parameter was tweaked.
  • Sample Player: fixed a mute problem when playing samples in dual-mode.
  • More optimizations done.
  • Several small fixes done.

Changes in Wusik 4000 & 8000 to v1.1.2:

  • Optimized the code of several modules, specially the Sample Player.
  • Artvera added the following skin on both products: Orange Blues.
  • Poly to Mono modulation are now by default assigned to the voice of the first key pressed. If that key is released, the code searches for the voice of the last key pressed. This is great when using an Envelope to LFO amount modulation in polyphonic mode.
  • Tree View: files with the following extension no longer shows the extension: WusikSND and DASHsnd. Only WAV, AIFF, and SFZ files will show the filename extension.
  • Multi Filter Poly: added new Option: Key Velocity to Frequency.
  • Wave Sequencer: added Loop Start option. Right click on a step to select that step as the Loop Start. It will display * next to the step number. e.g: S4*. If none is defined, the first step is the Loop Start one.
  • Custom Filter optimized. Also added Velocity/ModWheel/AT to Freq (it will search for any parameter with Freq on the name and use it as the destination). Added pow () function to the script-engine.
  • Custom Filter scripts locale changed to ./Data/Extras/Custom Filters.
  • The ./Data/Modules folder can be deleted, as modules are no longer stored on external library files.
  • The Wave Sequencer module had some updates. The Layer display ceiling is now based on the max number of layers of the Sample Player Modules. Added Mode I and Mode II options. Mode I is a polyphonic no XFade sequencer and Mode II will use the XFade in a monophonic way just as Wusik Station V1...V7 used. Drawing is now free, to change only one step hold Shift. The Right Mouse button (Command+Click on MAC) plus Shift allows to Zoom In/Out the Steps. An option to add 64 steps at once was added too.
  • Fixed: when wavesequencing with sample-player fixed-pitch, still use the tune+octave settings from the sequencer step which is playing.
  • Fixed a bug when loading old WusikSND separated stereo files. Also, if the file has another one with 2R on the filename it will load the two files in stereo. e.g: The Ambient Drums collection, the wet files are separated mono files with 1 and 2R on the filename.
  • Multi Line Envelope: added Sync option.
  • Sample Player: added Loop Modulation (L.Mod) option. This works with files marked with PW on the name, such as the Digi One soundsets or some files found in the Wusik Station V7 /Waveforms folder.
  • Fixed: Multi Line LFO, the Linear mode wasn't working.

Changes for Wusik 8000 alone:

  • New WS Legacy Filter, based on the original Wusik Station filter code.
  • Optimized the GUI code. Added a Smooth Zoom option, off by default. Uses more CPU when in Zoom mode and enabled.
