VSL releases "Muted Trumpet in Bb" and announces Limited Time Offer

-
Vienna Symphonic Library (VSL)

The Vienna Symphonic Library team has released the Muted Trumpet in Bb, an all-new Single Instrument that has never appeared on any of the large Vienna Instruments Collections. It contains the same articulations as the existing Trumpet in Bb, but all samples have been recorded using a classical "straight mute". Coinciding with this release the Viennese company announces a limited time offer. Users who purchase any two Single Instrument products between February 11 and February 28, 2014, will receive one additional Single Instrument of their choice for free.

Trumpet in Bb (Muted)

The new Muted Trumpet in Bb expands on the classic European style with more intense vibrato, portamento, bends and falls. Using a classical "straight mute" results in a thin and slightly "nasal" tone that blends well with ensembles of woodwinds and strings, but also works perfectly for lyrical melodic solo lines.

The new Single Instrument is instantly available for download for $138 and offers the complete set of samples and articulations on par with the large Vienna Instruments Collections, but has never appeared on any of them.

The purchase entitles customers to download the free Vienna Instruments player software, which also includes Vienna Ensemble, a multi-timbral mixing and host application for all Vienna Instruments.

77 Single Instruments Available: Promotion Offered

Single Instruments are an easy and affordable way to get into the world of Vienna Instruments or to expand an existing palette of virtual orchestral instruments. A Single Instrument product may be a Standard Library or an Extended Library (the Full Library counts as two products). Users who purchase two Single Instrument products between February 11 and February 28, 2014 will receive one Single Instrument (Standard Library or Extended Library) for free. The products may be ordered directly at the Vienna Symphonic Library web shop or at Vienna's distributor ILIO.
