Sound Dust releases Found Maschine - a Found Sound Expansion Pack for NI Maschine 2
Sound Dust have released Found Maschine a new expansion pack for Maschine 2.
Found Maschine contains over 700 warm, organic, "found" samples gathered from around the world using binaural portable recording equipment. They have been sculpted into 196 Maschine instruments for use as unlikely sound sources.
Sonic highlights include: the ghost of Thomas Carlyle, a very broken double bass, lawns being mown, beards being shaved, celery, snow, a rainy tent in France, ancient gramophone recordings of marmalade heir Alexander Keiller talking about the standing stones of Avebury, huge oil tanks, onions, pigs, fireworks, Stradivaruis saw, etc.
Found Machines is designed to be great for anything from Tom Waits hippity hop, quirky Mr Scruff-iness, wonky Flying Cobra wooze to glitch pop and dark and noble film score throbbiness.
Found Maschine contains:
- 800 x 24-bit tagged .wav samples.
- 16 x Drumkits (Groups) with pre programmed sequences.
- 196 x Tagged, multi-samples, chromatic instruments (Sounds).
- 18 x Massive synth patches.
- 16 x Drumsynth patches.
- 15 x projects.
Price: £20 from Sound Dust, and for a limited period bundled for free with Modular Chaos Engine #1 a "found" sound rhythmic workstation for Kontakt 4 and above.
