SKnote has updated GTS-39 Analog Modeled Tube Compressor to version 2.0.1.
Main improvements are:
- 8x oversampling is now optional. The new "draft" mode (no oversample) makes GTS-39 usable with a "ridiculous" CPU load. An "oversample on export" option is also available.
- A new "smoother" calibration is now available. Huge compression can be applied to the audio with less audible harmonics. Release time is slower, too, for a smoother sound on some sources.
- A new "force mono" stereo management option is now available. It forces mono processing when the host doesn't give a suitable automatic management of mono/stereo options.
This new version is backward compatible and is a free update for existing users.
It maintains its MRSP 29.99$ for new users.
It's available for 32- and 64-bit Windows and Mac OS X in VST and AU effect plug-in formats (RTAS coming soon).
