New Sonic Arts has announced a public beta of Freestyle, a VST host for Stage and Studio for Mac OS X and Windows.
With Freestyle you can:
- Split, layer and combine your VST instruments and FX to explore new sound design possibilities.
- Quickly organise and access your VST collection via the visual Plugin Browser.
- Transform your laptop into a live rig and keyboard workstation.
- Perform with Macro Controls, and navigate your set mouse-free with the Snapshot list.
The public-beta also runs in demo mode, free to download here.
It is available at a pre-order price - €99 instead of €129.
