Kilohearts has released of a new free plug-in called Snap Heap, and updated their full range of plug-ins. With the new release, a new Reverb ($19) plugin/snapin is also released. The new plug-in is designed to work wonders on its own and in combination with Snap Heap or Multipass.
Snap Heap is like their existing plugin Multipass, a modular system designed to have an easy and flexible workflow using their range of snapin plugins. Kilohearts' advanced modulation and routing is intended to make it a breeze to cook up all kinds of crazy, or for that matter sane, effects.
Finally, Kilohearts' full range of existing plugins have been updated. Apart from bug-fixing and optimizations across the board, feature additions have been done to some plugins:
- kHs ONE now have more preset banks included from the start, accessible from the preset menu (or among the AU presets).
- Pitch Shifter has gotten a more stable "Correlate" mode, removing phase issues that were prominent in the original algorithm.
- Stereo can now adjust the gain of the signal's mono content separately.
