K-Devices as released a new M4L MIDI device, AutoBeat, which is a powerful beat editor based on probabilities.

AutoBeat has been designed to create evolving note patterns, allowing you to decide how the beat should play, instead of creating completely random beats.

In AutoBeat you can choose the probability for each step to create a MIDI note. It is ideal for beats with continuous variations: it works great as a drum machine's mate, and when used with non percussive instruments too.

AutoBeat also creates clips: it includes a store clip function that works on the fly even when you are playing Live.

AutoBeat keeps the look and feel of Ableton Live and is integrated with Drum Racks, updating the selected pattern to the note you are editing on the Drum Rack, and including the file name directly in its graphical interface.

For a complete feature list, take a look at its product page.

Price: €29. AutoBeat is the first device that K-Devices has released as a partner of Ableton, and is available in the Ableton Packs Shop only.
