IK Multimedia releases Alan Parsons Imperial Grand and Terry Bozzio Drums Sound Libraries for SampleTank 3

IK Multimedia has announced the release of two new sound libraries for SampleTank 3 (Full and SE): Alan Parsons Imperial Grand and Terry Bozzio Drums.

Alan Parsons Imperial Grand puts the expressive sound of a massive 97-key concert grand piano recorded by master producer/engineer Alan Parsons at the prestigious British Grove Studios in London right at your fingertips. You get 1.3 GB of content with over 650 stereo samples (recorded at 8 different velocities) that have been captured by a signal chain similar to the one Alan used while working with The Beatles and Pink Floyd — AKG C12 and Neumann U67 valve microphones run through a classic EMI console, to be exact. Its power and depth is great for everything from prog rock to jazz and everything in between.

Terry Bozzio Drums gives you a 1.8 GB library of high-definition sounds with over 1,800 drum kit samples and 350 loops. Everything has been played by Terry Bozzio, the idiosyncratic drummer whose performances with Frank Zappa, UK, Jeff Beck and Missing Persons span 4 decades of classic album appearances. Terry Bozzio Drums also includes 350 audio loops played by the man himself in the style of his favorite album cuts. All have been organized into 12 instruments. And because of ST3's S.T.R.E.T.C.H. engine, you can instantly change the tempo of these loops without altering the pitch.
