HoRNet releases HDD-1 - Guitar Stompbox Digital Delay

-
HoRNet

HoRNet has released HDD-1, an emulation of one of the first guitar pedal digital delays from the 80s when digital became affordable. The internal ADC is a 12-bit one that stores the sampled data in some RAM banks, but the level, feedback and the rest of the circuit is completely analog.

This kind of scheme is designed to allow for some funny low-fi effects as the signal is degraded more and resampled in the feedback loop. In addition to this, the frequency response has a sharp cutoff at 7kHz and the pre-emphasys and de-emphasys filters.

Features:

  • Digital times from 12.5ms to 800ms.
  • Adjustable effect level, feedback and delay time.
  • Hold mode to repeat from the last 200ms to 800ms.
  • Analog emulation.
  • Stereo mode.
  • Tempo sync by multiples of 16th.

Price: 9.99 Euro at Hornet.
