99Sounds has released Mangling Audio, a free collection of glitchy sound effects and processed audio loops crafted by Poztman. The library contains over 300 individual sounds in 24-bit WAV format, along with a set of instrument patches for Kontakt 5.
The sounds were created by processing raw data and using software plugins in new and unusual ways. Extreme time-stretching, experimental convolution and software misuse are some of the creative techniques which were used to craft the samples and loops included in this free sound library.
