Xtant Audio releases Elkatwin - Synthesizer Sample Library for Kontakt

Xtant Audio has released Elkatwin, a Kontakt 5 synthesizer sample library that contains over 2000 samples recorded on an original Elkatwin 61 analogue synthesizer.

The instrument makes use of a sound layering system inspired by the original hardware. The two layers provide a selection of sounds that can be mixed together with different effects and parameters to create unique patches.

The library also includes an extended bass section featuring four classic bass sounds that can be layered together independently. The bass sounds also increase the playable range of the instrument.

Elkatwin's user interface provides control over a selection of effects including portamento glide, symphonic (chorus), filters, rotator, and phaser. You'll also have access to a standard ADSR envelope and two filters.
