Freshtone Samples releases "Lost Tapes Vol 2" Sample Library

26th February 2014

Freshtone Samples has released a new sample library: Lost Tapes Vol 2.

Fired by nostalgia, moving bass lines, funky horns, slinky guitars, retro keys and the gestures of soul, Lost Tapes Vol 2 is designed to encapsulate all the wholesome goodness of an iconic era in music.

Recorded at Gizzard studios in London's East End, using their early 1970's Alice Stancoil AM series quadrophonic mixer, and then put to tape on a Studer A80 2" 16 track and a Studer A80 ¼" machine, Lost Tapes 2 presents a host of vintage instruments.

Included are a Hammond B3, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, a rare early Hofner Violin Bass, a Burns Sonic Bass, vintage Gibson 335 and Fender Telecaster through a 1968 Marshall 50-watt combination and WEM Dominator amps, and, for the first time, the Freshtone Brass Section makes its début with trumpet, sax and flute adding sparkle and bite to each of the 40 compositions.

Total Size: 3.52GB. Included formats: Rex 2 and Acid Wav.

Price: £39.95 / €47.95. This is an introductory price from Time + Space.
