Audiffex releases inValve v1.5 for Win & Mac VST & AU and drops PowerCore support

Audiffex has updated their tube simulation product, inValve, to version 1.5.0.

The most significant change is transition to native plug-ins without the requirement of TC Electronic PowerCore (which has been discontinued).

The plug-ins:

• inValve | Preamp is a precise software emulation of a tube amplifier. The sound is not affected too much, it adds just warmth and smoothness you need for analog-like mixes.
• inValve | Compressor is a compressor emulation utilizing the characteristics of tubes.
• inValve | Equalizer is a four-band equalizer with a tube circuit emulation.

Pricing & Availability

The plug-ins are available in VST and AU formats for Windows and Mac OS X (including 64-bit Windows version; Mac to follow). Demo versions are available here.

The update is free for all customers who purchased either VL2 or inValve for PowerCore.
