After 2 years of participating in One Synth Challenge I attempted to use gained knowledge with this arrangement:

Very otherworldly! It's like a cross between a classical piece and a 1980s synth-driven sci-fi soundtrack.

I've played this a couple of times on YT and once on SoundCloud. It's very good. I loved the "string" section, particularly during the intro. This could certainly be used as OST material for a SciFi film during a sequence where the spacecraft moves slowly past the observer on its journey into the unknown.
