I've released my first official solo album, titled GUILT NOIR by Michael Arthur Holloway. Some of you may know me for my work as DEAD WHEN I FOUND HER, my electro-industrial project, signed to ArtOfFact Records / Storming The Base.

Well, my first solo album is something else entirely -- 10 tracks of instrumental Doom Jazz, reminiscent of Angelo Badalamenti's soundtrack to Twin Peaks and the scores to countless classic Film Noir movies. Check it out! This could be your new soundtrack for late night walks...

For the tech-folks here or whom it may concern, the album was composed & produced with Ableton Live 9 + Studio One 3 for mastering.

thanks!

Nice, though I wouldnt call it Doom or Jazz,
youll put alot of people off with that description.

Its more chill than doom.

Didnt make me think of Twin Peaks at all though and Im from that generation.

Thanks for checking it out!

The first track won't make you think of Twin Peaks, but the second track and a handful of others absolutely will -- Badalamenti was a huge influence on about half the album. The rest is more reminiscent of the german doom jazz quartet Bohren & Der Club of Gore, as well as the soundtracks to 40's and 50's Film Noir movies.

Really nice job!
It reminded me of "Audrey's dance" on Twin Peak's soundtrack.

Definitely getting the Badalamenti vibes here. I was reminded of the song "Up in Flames" from the Wild at Heart soundtrack, especially when listening to "Bottom Feeder Blues". I'm more familiar with Lynch's movies than his TV series. Slinky nightscape jazz.

Good work :)
