Hi there!
I got a friend to play the horns after writing them using a sample library. That was the first time I did that, and it was fun!

really enjoyable track. the overall mood reminded me of groove armadas "at the river" they used a sample from 'old cape cod'. as you mentioned, thoss horns work very well for the track!

This is very chilled I like the swirling the noise, very 80s. How have you constructed that snare? Lots of layering? The bass hits nice and hard at the beginning, and sits well with the rest of the track. I like the slight de-syncopation on the bass, it gives it swing. The lead at 1:39 is very atmospheric, doubly so for the nice instrumental finish. I also like the 'drop' ending. Well worthy of a like

Phoenstorm: Hey thank you so much, I'm really glad you enjoyed it Great spotting on that Groove Armada track. I always find it VERY hard to find artists to compare to! I can see what you mean there. Glad you liked the horns!
AlexBridgez: It did turn out very 80s, thanks for noticing that. It's made me think about committing to the 80s thing a bit more. I think there was a bit of layering on that snare, though I can't quite remember the details! I think there was some kind of compression used to make the tail of the snare pump a bit. Glad you liked the offbeatness of the bass and the atmospheric lead! And the drop ending haha, I felt it needed to happen.
Thanks both of you for listening and giving me some nice feedback Always happy to learn more about how it is received by others!

Nice job. The horns are fantastic!
My only complaint is that the big BOOM CRASH BOOM BOOM CRASH drums ruin the chilled vibe for me.

Great horns and synths. I'm not sure about the drums. Sometimes I find myself thinking that they're a little heavy, sometimes not. With a piece like this, you don't find out until you try. I wasn't crazy about the swirling sound - I thought it was over-used, but this is probably down to my personal taste. I really liked the outro. That worked very well indeed.
Good work
