This is my entry into u-He's Hive challenge on Blend. It's the short (4'32") version.
https://soundcloud.com/garryknight/hexagon-radio-edit
The long (8-minute) version is here:
https://soundcloud.com/garryknight/hexagon
The piece consists of 19 tracks, each with a Hive synth and no other instruments used anywhere. I've mostly used Hive's onboard effects, too, as they're pretty good. As I wanted to show off the versatility and great sound of Hive, I mostly used factory presets.
If you want to remix it, the Blend project is here:

Thanks, kurodo. Don't seem to be many of us entering, and I'd like to see/hear more.

Thanks for the feedback, dephstep. I seem to have a problem. I can barely hear the hihats on my KRK KNK6400 headphones, nor on my PC speakers (don't have monitors yet). And this has happened before, where someone has mentioned the hats being too loud and I just can't hear them.
I'll reduce the gain around the 10K mark, and the track volume on the hats, and turn down the exciter a few notches, but it'll help me if you can tell me, are they too loud, too high-pitched, or what?

I thought the hats were fine. I like the atmosphere of the piece.

Thanks, nineofkings. I reduced the gain on them a little after listening to the track on a cheap pair of Samsung headphones that accentuate the high range. Some people might listen on equipment that does just that.

this is awesome, all the parts fit so well. No harshness or spikey hi hats on Beyerdynamic DT 990s. Thank you for sharing your music with others.
