Nice one. I've just played this 3 times back-to-back. For some reason, I found myself particularly drawn to the sound of the bass on here. It's a simple bassline, but many of the best ones are. Something was bugging me about the vocals too. On the third listen I figured out what it was. Your voice sounds eerily similar to Curt Smith in places (not a bad thing). Nice mix too, although the kick might want to come down just a little

I'm digging that bass particularly, too. Good beat, nice atmo behind the vox.

this really was an exercise in mix - I had really great sounding drums and bass gtr to start with
the bass has a Adrenalinn filter sequence mixed in about 75% wet/dry

feeling more and more the mistakes I have made in mixing, instrumentation, track levels in the past & getting more feel for making pleasant-sounding mixes - this one was just as straight-forward/simple as I could make with single-tracked vocal, epiano(s), one pad, bass, 4 gtr trax and one drums
